Gifts

God, the holy Spirit, brings to the life of all Christ-followers certain spiritual gifts that are divine enablements which are to be utilized in the various tasks of God's kingdom.  Each spiritual gift can be matched to ministries within the church.  Truly, then, all Christians are ministers--which implies both privilege and responsiblity.  When Christians are ministering in areas of their giftedness, they experience high levels of fulfillment, joy and effectiveness.  We will earnestly seek to discover and deploy our spiritual gifts in the ministry of our Lord at FBC.
