First Baptist Nursery School is so much more than childcare. Our trained staff seek to provide you and your children with a place where your child will have the freedom to explore God’s amazing creation. Our purpose is to provide each child with a safe, nurturing experience in a comfortable Christian environment. We allow all children to learn and experience new challenges that will help build their confidence while they play. A HISTORY OF EXCELLENCE
First Baptist Nursery School has been around since the 1950’s. Originally, the school operated only on a single day through the week. As the need grew in Maryville, the program grew as well. Through the years, more days and hours have been added to meet the needs of the community. Today, the Nursery School prides itself in teaching and allowing kids to explore a wide array of topics such as new cultures, languages, arts, crafts, mathematics, and so much more. Over the course of 60+ years, kids who were first brought to the First Baptist Nursery School are now bringing their children and grandchildren, continuing a tradition and making our name known throughout Maryville, TN.
While we pride ourselves on providing a fun, engaging atmosphere and the most educational program possible, we place the safety of your child above everything else.
Our staff is certified in CPR and first aid and receives a minimum of 18 hour early childhood training per year. The director receives a minimum of 30 hours of training per year. We are licensed by the Department of Human Services as a 3 Star Care Facility; the highest possible rank.
We follow all state guidelines and regulations.
