2025 Nominations for Administrative Council Member

It is time to nominate church members to fill one at-large position on the Administrative Council. Candidates must be church members. They can be either men or women who are mature Christians and strongly invested in our mission to love God and others.

The Administrative Council is made up of pastors,, team leaders, and three at-large members. The responsibilities of the Council are to: vet and approve FBCM members recommended to serve on church teams; provide guidance to team chairpersons on church-related business; recommend, create, and provide oversight to specialized task forces created for church projects; assist the Senior Pastor and Ministerial staff with congregational input; and deal with issues and decisions that fall outside FBCM’s by-Laws and financial procedures to determine if an issue or project requires a vote by the church membership.

We have one open at-large church member position to fill for this term, and this person will serve a three-year term from January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2028. Current at-large members who are ineligible for nominations include Johnnie Williams, Mike Bishop, and Will Luke.

After prayerful consideration, please fill out the form below to submit your nomination(s). Nominations will be taken September 7-28. The councils will vet nominees and then present them to the church. We will vote at the Quarterly Business Meeting on Sunday, Nov. 30.

This form must be submitted or turned in by Sunday, September 28, online, or, via the black nomination box outside the church office or in the FLC Lobby.
