Bill and Gary’s sermons on Sunday, Sept. 20, will be about “Loving Rightly” which is about the virtue of showing love to our neighbors. We invite you and your family to stay after church, eat free pizza together in the FLC Lobby, and then put this Christian love into practice in a variety of ways. You can:
Show love to those facing natural disasters by filling buckets with the essential supplies needed to clean up their property after events like tornados, hurricanes, or floods.
Show love to our neighborhood by walking around the streets surrounding the church and picking up any trash that we see.
Show love to children entering foster care by assembling welcome packets that the Isaiah 117 House can give them to hopefully make their transition into the system easier and more comfortable.
Show love to the hungry by building and installing a blessing box in our parking lot to collect donations of shelf-stable food and hygiene products for anyone in need to pick up for free.
We hope you’ll stay and participate. It will be fun and a blessing to see people from both services and of all generations come together to make a real difference in the name of Jesus.
