Growing Your Prayer Garden

“Growing Your Prayer Gardens, One Prayer at a Time.”We had a hands-on activity, creatively planting succulents in coffee mugs—a lovely and lasting reminder of the day to take home. The morning also featured a heartfelt message on prayer from guest speaker Betty McKenzie. Using the ACTS model—Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving, and Supplication—she encouraged and equipped women to deepen their prayer lives.
In a special moment of reflection, the group honored the memory of Anna Haynes, one of the founding members of the Women’s Ministry Team and a beloved prayer warrior, whose legacy continues to inspire.
